Hey everyone, I came across this site earlier and I thought I'd throw my lot in and offer some experience based advice for my fellow guards and supervisors.

I live and work in Calgary, with just over 15 years of experience in nearly every facet of private security ranging from foot patrol, mobile, shopping malls, office towers, multi-facility campus and emergency response.

I'm currently in the process of re-certifying my CPO designation from IFPO and I'm lining myself up for a couple of other professional designations (CPP, PSP and CSMP), in hopes of reaching the management level.

    Cheers!
