Learn Fingerprint Identification

This course teaches you the basic science of fingerprints. You learn the value of crime scene evidence, you learn various points of a fingerprint and how to use this to compare prints against one another. You will also learn the different patterns that fingerprints consist of. This course will give you an in depth view of fingerprinting so that when you are on the job it is another set of tools you have. How many times as security are you the first res-ponder, perhaps to a break-in? You will know right away where there may be possible fingerprint evidence areas and in knowing you will make sure that that part of the scene is also not contaminated while you wait for the arrival of the police.
Some of you may be wanting to take your security careers further and go to a police department. This is just an added tool that can help you to get where you want to go.

The course is self paced with some basic self testing on paper but the majority of the course is on the computer. You receive the course material online and then a USB will be sent to you with the remainder of the course. The USB portion of this course is the major part of your learning. The USB will always be yours and you can use it for practice whenever you want to brush up.
