Job Type: Full-time Fly in/Fly out (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off – subject to change)
Salary: $1725/ per week
Lee-Bo Scarlet Security LLP, a division of the Scarlet Group of Companies is seeking full time Security Guards to join our team in Kitimat, British Columbia. Successful applicants will provide security services to a large and dynamic work site including, but not limited to, ensuring adherence to site rules, site access, vehicle searches, foot and mobile patrolling, lodge security, assistance with emergency response, security of waterfront and port area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Maintaining excellent customer service to guests, colleagues and site workers
Access control at lodge, site and marine area.
Observing site activities and recording suspicious occurrences and security incidents.
Mobile and foot patrols of assigned areas.
Recording daily activities, completing access and administrative forms and issuing or checking security badges.
Monitoring access points and security cameras.
Using radios to communicate with colleagues
Required Qualifications
Valid British Columbia Security License (applicants from outside of BC must obtain)
Valid Class 5 Drivers License and acceptable Drivers Abstract
Negative Drug and Alcohol Test (Scarlet Security will arrange)
Valid CPR & AED certification (must have or obtain within 3 months)
WHMIS (can be obtained for free online)
Ability to clearly speak and write English
Willingness to work either day or night shifts
Additional Information
Salary: $ 1725 / per week (before taxes)
Full Uniform provided including PPE
2 weeks on/1 week off rotation (currently 2/2 with 2/1 beginning May/June, 2021)
Paid transportation to and from site from Edmonton, Calgary, Kelowna, Vancouver and Nanaimo airports. Residents of Kitimat and surrounding areas will be provided with bus transportation to site.
Food and housing provided
Extended Health Benefits after 6 months of employment
We provide lodging to out of area residents. Candidates from Kitimat and surrounding area will be given priority and provided transportation to site. Candidates from other regions will be strongly considered
